Duties of a Biomedical Manager
What do you love most about being a part of the team?
“I love my job and have no problem getting up in the mornings. This is a place that I want to retire from. We challenge each other to do better, to grow and become a better version of ourselves. At the same time, we want everyone to have a good work/life balance.“
How has your role evolved from when you first started?
“Josh and I have worked with each other since 2008 in a prior business. In 2014, he started RWM where I was his biomed tech. Josh would deliver/pick up pumps and bring them to my house. There I would PM/repair the pumps and then take them back over to his house to drop them off. Today, being middle management, I am grateful for this opportunity to continue my journey with a great company.“
How has Right Way Medical grown over the past decade?
“My gosh, has it grown since the beginning. I remember Josh’s executive desk was an old fold up card table with a folding chair, his printer sitting on the floor beside it. This company was a dream that Josh made a reality. Working from our homes/garages to getting into our first office suite, now into a multi office suite with 6 locations around the country. It has changed and keeps changing.”
What are your favorite memories or milestones with the company?
“Change in a simple one-word answer. The changes keep coming, the growing, the dreams kept becoming a reality. My experience here has been nothing short of amazing. The business culture, my fellow employees, the friendships can’t be beat. I rescued greyhounds’ dogs, and I brought my dog to work one day. Around lunch time, I couldn’t find my dog, he had wondered off. When I called for him, he comes running into my biomed room from the warehouse. Eating something. Next thing I know, Fred comes in and tells me that my dog stole his sandwich off his desk (while he was sitting there). Bruno was a very stealthy dog.“
