Associate Buyer
Right Way Medical is seeking an Associate Buyer interested in learning and growing within the business-to-business medical distribution industry. The Associate Buyer is responsible for supporting procurement operations by executing purchasing activities, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods. This role plays a critical part in inventory management, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to support business objectives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and accountability.

Specific Duties:
Purchasing & Order Management
- Create, issue, and track purchase orders in alignment with demand and inventory needs
- Use data to prevent both stockouts and overstock of expensive or regulated products
- Monitor order status, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery
- Resolve order discrepancies, including pricing, quantity, and receiving issues
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and system data
- Responsible for matching vendor invoices to purchase orders and confirming receipt of goods and services (three-way-match) within ERP system
- Other duties as assigned
Supplier Coordination
- Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, lead times, and fulfillment issues
- Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors
- Track manufacturer allocation and backorder status
- Support supplier onboarding and documentation requirements
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance (OTIF, responsiveness, quality)
- Escalate risks (delays, shortages, pricing changes) proactively
- Communicate with suppliers to secure equivalent substitute products when needed
- Other duties as assigned
Inventory & Demand Support
- Partner with internal teams to align purchasing with demand forecasts
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
- Assist in managing backorders and product substitutions

Cost & Process Optimization
- Support cost-saving initiatives and pricing analysis
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within purchasing workflows
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Finance to support business needs
- Provide updates on order status, delays, and supply risks
- Participate in internal meetings related to inventory and procurement
- Other duties as assigned
Experience & Knowledge:
- Minimum BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in logistics, management or other business related field
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
- Comfortable with problem solving
- Project management
- Good listener with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys taking the initiative
- Infusion pump or other related medical experience is a plus
- Advanced computer skills working with Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Senior Buyer
Right Way Medical is seeking a Senior Buyer interested in learning and growing within the business-to-business medical distribution industry. The Senior Buyer is responsible for managing purchasing activities, supplier relationships, inventory support, and procurement processes across assigned product categories and operational initiatives. This role plays a key part in ensuring product availability, minimizing supply disruptions, and supporting company growth through proactive purchasing and vendor management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced environment.
Specific Duties:
Purchasing & Procurement Management
Manage purchase orders from creation through delivery and resolution
Monitor supplier lead times, pricing, and fulfillment performance
Proactively identify and escalate inventory risks, delays, and supply concerns
Coordinate purchasing priorities based on business needs and inventory requirements
Ensure timely and accurate PO execution within company systems
Manage and update accurately landed cost models
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Inventory & Operational Support
Monitor inventory trends and assist in preventing stockouts and excess inventory
Support landed cost analysis and purchasing decisions related to freight and imports
Assist with international inbound shipping coordination and supplier logistics communication
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Accounting, and Leadership teams
Reporting & Data Management
Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing files, and vendor data within ERP systems
Assist in reporting related to purchasing activity, forecasting, and inventory trends
Support purchasing-related audits, rebate tracking, and operational reporting initiatives
Process Improvement & Execution
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing workflows and operational efficiency
- Support implementation and adherence to purchasing procedures and internal controls
- Execute responsibilities with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability
Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum BA/ BS degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in logistics, management or other business related field
1 – 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
Comfortable with problem solving
Strong organization and time management skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities
Project management
Good listener with excellent written and verbal communication skills
