Meet Erin Sepetauc
Erin Sepetauc grew up in Carey, Ohio, a small northwest Ohio village known for its charm and history. If you’re ever in the area, she recommends visiting the National Shrine Park. Today, she lives in Plain City, where she enjoys the quiet of country living, which gives her the space to fully pursue her hobbies, especially gardening.
In her free time, Erin grows a variety of vegetables for her family, including lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, garlic, and green beans. She enjoys experimenting with new crops each year and preserving her harvest by canning homemade salsa, soups, and jams to enjoy year-round. One of her more unique hobbies is growing and drying luffa gourds to create natural sponges.
In addition to her green thumb, Erin is also the owner of a small business specializing in custom jewelry. Her entrepreneurial journey began after purchasing a breastmilk ring to honor her motherhood experience. While the piece was deeply meaningful, she realized that not everyone had access to something similar, which inspired her to teach herself how to create keepsake jewelry from scratch. Today, she designs custom pieces that preserve life’s most meaningful moments, including motherhood, love, and the memory of loved ones and pets, turning personal stories into lasting keepsakes.
A sentimental person at heart, Erin especially cherishes family traditions. One of her favorites is celebrating her daughter’s birthday. Since she was two years old, Erin has filled her room with balloons the night before her birthday. Each year, her daughter wakes up to a room full of balloons and streamers on the door, thanks to the “birthday fairy,” a tradition that continues to bring joy to their family.
